My wife and I ate there for the first time last night and loved the food. The spring rolls were hot and fresh, the satay was so fresh out of the kitchen that it was almost sizzling, my Pad Thai was likewise right off the stove and very good. It was the best Thai food I've had lately. (I had my dish at a heat level of 3 and it was mildly hot. Next time I'll go for a 5.)

Reasonable prices. We ate well for about $35 plus tip, including drinks.

My advice: don't be in a hurry (especially if it's busy), don't expect inspiring decor, or chatty, amiable service. Go for the food!

It seems to be a family-run operation (I'm guessing here), and I would love to see this place in a smaller, cozier location. Something like the Taj Mahal Indian restaurant maybe. I'd bet a Thai buffet with food of this quality in a convenient downtown location would be a big hit.

Great food. One of my favorite places in Columbia. I hope they are able to get another place when they tear down the hotel.

Did not like place very much. The servers were not as friendly and I thought the place smelled a little funny. Decor was not appealing at all.

This place im my favorite. The location is disappointing... but I honestly don't mind since I will be staying in the hotel above it for a while. The service is pretty good, I just wish that the waiters and waitresses would be a little enthusiastic and look at us as friends and not customers. They could change the decorations from time to time. The food, my favorite topic is heavenly. It would be cool if they garnished it more, though.
One last thing, Thai Kitchen, is definitely better then icky Bangkok Garden's.

If you love Thai and/or spicy food, then Thai Kitchen is the place for you. The egg rolls are one of the best that I've had among the several Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai restaurants that I have been to (in Minneapolis, Chicago, Wichita, St. Louis, Fayetteville, AR). The egg rolls come with a palette of four different sauces. Their sweet and sour sauce is amazing. Yes, the egg rolls are a little pricey but no one is looking at the price when they are that great. The Pad Thai is all I order and it is also among the best that I've had. The service is okay considering that it's a family business but it has gotten better. I have eaten there on a consistant basis since I found that place a year and a half ago and it's one of the better if not best restaurants that I have been to.

This place is my favorite place to eat. The food is the best thai in columbia. The restaurant has a nice relaxed feel to it and the price is resonable for the portions and the quality of the food.

Pretty decent thai food. Much better than Bangkok Gardens. I ordered a 4 on the spice level and it was too spicy for me. Next time I will try a 2 or 3.
Location not that great.
