One of my favorite places to meet the girls for drinks!!! LOVE the small plates, this visit we had the hummus and it was wonderful! Just found out that Tiger takeout delivers food, so now its accessible anytime!

I would love to give Room38 a 5/5 rating based on their amazing food. However, doubt I'll go back for a third time because the music is RIDICULOUSLY LOUD!! Went on a Saturday evening-it was only 8pm by the way-& watched a room full of people screaming at one another over their meals because the music was obnoxious. Waitress couldn't even hear us. Too bad, as the dumplings & gooey butter are to die for...but my ears have yet to recover, thank you very much.

One of my absolutely favorite places especially for happy hour. Wonderful small plates and flat breads. The flight option for wine is a very nice option not normally found in Columbia.

This unique, upscale restaurant and lounge is a jewel in the crown of Columbia. When you leave a restaurant and can't wait to come back to try another menu item, that's sweet. Not only is the food amazing, everyone on the staff is great! I can't keep myself from recommending and returned to Room 38 every chance I get.

Love this place but have one major suggestion...DITCH THE DJ that is there on Friday/Saturday nights. He totally takes away from the atmosphere this restaurant has.

The food is great and I love the casual yet upscale setting.

Wait staff and bartenders are super friendly and attentive. Love them.

what can i say? In one word.. exquisite. I"m originally from the east coast have been in columbia for some time. This is my new favorite place. I love that my girlfriend and i can each order two plates and share them... and taste a little bit of everything! The tuna pokey was my favorite,.. the flavors were so well balanced.. The scallops were cooked perfectly med rare, and yes, the lobster mac and cheese is the highest achievement mac and cheese can earn! We also had our wine sampling with the flights of wine that they offer. in closing, This is the closest to a New-york lounge that you'll probably ever see in columbia. I will defiantly come back again for the butter cake and more!

I'm a big fan of Room 38. I have to park downtown a lot, so when I saw that a new restaurant opened across the way, I thought about going in, but after hearing their ad on the sports station, I was intrigued (sp) enough to give it a try. The food was GREAT and they have a lot of unique stuff that I can't wait to try. The whole "small plate" thing kind of confused me since it was a regular size portion, but it was great food.

Our server had great meal suggestions, she was attentive and very nice. One of the best restaurant expiriences i've had in Columbia. Great service!

I have tried every single item on the menu and haven't missed a lunch there in a couple of weeks. Great new happy hour specials and the best food in Columbia. I would recommend Room38 to anyone looking for a good time with great food.

My husband and I went to Room 38 Saturday night for drinks and apps. I was so impressed! I felt like I was back in New York city again. Fabulous atmosphere, great apps, diverse crowd and yummy martinis! The waitress was wonderful too! We can't wait to go back.

I went into Room 38 for the first time recently and was impressed. The server was very friendly and she made sure our drinks stayed full. I had a sandwich wrap and their sweet potato fries and both were great. I loved the decor and to the person who posted before me, if you don't want to sit at the lower table, just do what I did and sit at the booth which is regular size. It was great!

I think this place is really close to being cool. I like the feel of the inside, but only having two or three normal dining tables is a bit awkward. Maybe the coffee tables should be able to be raised so if you don't want to hunch over your food, you don't have to.

The two times I've been there, the flavor of the food is great. But the portions leave a lot to be desired. The prices wouldn't be bad if you actually got a full meal for it. I'm all for smaller portions, but the prices should reflect that.

This place is amazing! We rented their private room for the night and had a great time! The server was the best we'd ever had, the atmosphere was perfect. My friends ate there earlier in the evening and loved that too! It felt like we left columbia for the evening. Definately going to tell my friends. Cant wait to go back!

I went there for the first time with a bunch of friends and it was great! Not the same 'ol, same 'ol for sure! Cool look, great food & great service! We each ordered something different and then shared. Every single thing we ordered was delicious!! The drinks were good as well, but I thought they were a little high at $10 for one small mojito and it wasn't very strong at all. They did have some drink specials though.

We stopped in last night for drinks and small plates. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and good food. My husband and I shared the jalapeno crab rangoon sticks. They were really good. We also got the baked brie, which was good but really sticky. Overall, we had a good experience. The service was great!
