Dined at Bingham's with the girls right before Christmas.Service was excellent. Food was delicious and well presented. Will definitely go back.
I took my children to Bingham's for a special Spring Break get-away in Jefferson City, despite the previous review I read on this site. I couldn't have been more pleased!
We were given a very nice table, and had water and a drink request immediately. Everyone was very polite and enthusiastic, in spite of the fact that 2 of the 3 customers at our table were 'just kids'.
Our first course arrived promptly, and we were given extra bread and butter. They even made a substitution on my salad.
Dinner was delicious- my son had the 'Early Bird' special petite prime rib, which came with a free movie ticket to the theatre next door. We were presented with not one but 3 tickets- one for each of us! I had the pasta primavera, which had lots of veggies and a great sauce that wasn't too heavy. My daughter ordered chicken strips off the kid's menu, and it was plenty of food.
The wine list was decent, the kids were served Shirley Temples, and dessert was great! (Try the spice cake- it has cream cheese icing and caramel sauce drizzled over the top. Yum!)
I would recommend this restaurant for any special occasion. I was impressed with the care the staff was taking with the diners, and the manager even stopped by my table at the end of the meal to make sure we were happy.
Very nice service, it was prompt and the staff was friendly. The food was excellent in taste and arrangement ! ! The decor is elegant, and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone.
My fiance and I went here for a romantic dinner for our anniversary. It was a complete joke. Very disapointed in the whole experience. We made reservations but when we got there, it was like they didn't even take them. We were seated by the fireplace which we wanted, however it wasn't even lit. We had to request they start it. There was no one else in that room which again was fine with us as we wanted a romatic experience. However, we did not expect to be forgotten about. The water girl finally came by to offer us some water, we told her that we had been there for over 15 minutes and we had not seen our server yet. Mind you the place was not busy at all. They had advertised it as a romantic place. Not a place i would consider romatic at all. The music playing was horrible. Our server was a younger kid who finally came running to our table. We got our menus. It was a long time before he came back and we wanted to place drink orders by then we knew what we wanted, we ordered and waited along time for him to come back for our drink orders and over over 30 mintues plus for our food. I had to stop him one time to request water, he forgot and i had to ask again when he brought the food. When we got our food, my fiances was incorrect. Do you think anyone was around to let them know. Nope. I waited and waited for silverware after requesting it. Once again the waiter came running to our table and tripped and almost fell. We did finally request to speak to the manager. Guess what, we had to wait for her as well. We explained our extreme disappointment in the whole experience. She apologized and said she would take care of the bill, which i thought was nice of her to do. However our server brought us our bill. Ok, so we explined to him what she had said, we got attitude from him and off he went. Here she came with major attitude, snatched up the ticket, stormed off and half way out of the room she turned around said thanks, have a nice evening, very snotty. This place was an absolute joke. I cannot stress that enough. I would highley discourage anyone from going to this establishement. We managed to salvage the evening by going to the winery in Holts Summit and enjoying wine by the fire.
The Sunday morning brunch is good, with quite a good selection. It is a bit pricey though.
