A man who’s been running from the law for more than a year is caught as part of a drug bust. The Maries County Sheriff reports authorities arrested 29-year-old Donald Green of Belle Saturday morning at a home on Highway 28 near his hometown. Green was out on parole for drugs, and was wanted all over the state, including Kansas City, Pettis County, and Saint James. His charges include possessing a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Joseph Fernandez, 26, of Belle was also arrested in the bust on similar allegations. They’re both in the Maries County Jail.
A third suspect was let go, pending formal charges. Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman says to expect those allegations to come down sometime this week.
